WE ARE THE OMEGA GENERATION

Gods said, “I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA THE BEGINNING AND THE END”. This phrase is found four times in the book of Revelation:  Revelation 1:8; 1:11; 21:6 and 22:13.

To understand this concept, we must first see what the Bible has to say about what is meant by Omega (The End). The word as applied to God is the end, ending. God is the final word. All things are complete in Him. God is eternal.  God told Moses, “Tell Pharaoh that the “I AM” (the ever existing one) has sent you.”
There were many great generational periods in the past, but not one like this one.
1. Adam was the first generation. - Disobedience
2. Noah was the second. - Repent or Die
3. The Moses was the third. - Go or Stay
4. The birth of Christ was the forth. - Believe or Turn
5. The last generation is the fifth and last. - Stand or Fall

Each one in the past had a choice, and now we have a choice again.  Will we stand firm in our belief in Jesus Christ or will we grow cold and lose Him?  This is our choice and there are no other choices.  We are “The Omega Generation”, the last.  This generation has been given the opportunity to rise up and declare Jesus Christ is the Messiah or to turn away from Him and pay the penalty.

Let us examine some of the circumstances that surround this generation and why it is the Omega Generation, the last.  “Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.” In Matthew 24:34 (American Standard Version), Jesus was asked the question by His disciples “When will this happen (the destruction of the temple, which has occurred already) and what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the world”?  This was a two-part question; each of these must be answered.  The first part:  the temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. The second part is yet to come.                                                                                                         

“When will the world come to an end”? Jesus answered this question in the Gospel of Mark,  “And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.” Mark 13:5-8 (King James Version)

A sign of the last generation, the Omega Generation, would be an increase in earthquakes. The devastation in Haiti (250,000 deaths) and in Japan (20,000 deaths) has shown how vulnerable we are in this world. It is no longer a matter of if it will happen, but when and where it will happen. This has been prophesied in the Bible, “And great earthquakes shall be in divers places (a lot of different places), and famines, and pestilence; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven”. Luke 21:11 (KJV)

This is the beginning of the last days before the world in mass turns against the church and its people. Persecution will increase in places that have not seen persecution, like America. Homeland security issued a memorandum to federal, state and city law enforcement agencies to be on the alert for fundamentalist Christians because they are a threat to this government. We have also lost the right to read the Bible in schools. We can no longer pray in schools. Our children cannot wear tee shirts proclaiming their love for our Lord. It seems that we Christians must be tolerant to everyone else because we offend those that do not agree with us. However, these same people can defame everything we believe in and we cannot say anything thing about it because of their right to free expression.
